Rules & Guidelines
Rules & Guidelines
These rules exist to keep Anarchy fair, welcoming, and fun for everyone. Most of it comes down to a simple idea: play fair and don’t ruin the experience for others.
1. Respect & Conduct
1.1 Respect All Players
Treat other players with basic respect. Harassment, hate speech, real-life threats, or targeted abuse are not tolerated anywhere in the Anarchy community.
1.2 No Hate or Discrimination
Content targeting someone’s race, gender, sexuality, religion, nationality, or similar traits is not allowed. This applies to character names, guild names, chat, and profiles.
1.3 Language & Behavior
Light banter is fine; constant toxicity is not. If someone asks you to back off, back off. Staff may step in if behavior consistently makes the game unpleasant for others.
2. Fair Play & Game Integrity
2.1 No Cheating or Automation
Using hacks, bots, automation tools, or modified clients that give you an in-game advantage is strictly forbidden. This includes anything that plays, farms, or reacts for you.
2.2 No Exploiting
If you discover a bug or exploit (for example: gold dupes, broken quests, or respawn abuse), report it instead of abusing it. Intentionally abusing exploits can result in account action.
2.3 No Real-Money Trading
Buying or selling characters, gold, items, or services for real money (or equivalent) is not allowed. This includes third-party websites and under-the-table deals.
2.4 PvP & Griefing
World PvP and battlegrounds are part of the game. However, repeatedly harassing the same player or group purely to ruin their experience may be treated as griefing and handled by staff.
3. Accounts & Security
3.1 Account Sharing
Do not share your account. You are responsible for everything that happens on it, even if “a friend was playing.” We cannot guarantee support for issues caused by account sharing.
3.2 Password Safety
Use a strong, unique password and never share it with anyone. Anarchy staff will never ask for your password. If you suspect your account is compromised, contact staff as soon as possible.
3.3 Impersonating Staff
Pretending to be a GM, developer, or staff member—or implying special powers or authority— is not allowed. Official staff will be clearly marked in-game and on Discord.
4. Community & Communication
4.1 No Spamming
Avoid spam in any channel: repeated messages, loud copypastas, excessive advertising, or link spam. If you are flooding chat, expect staff to step in.
4.2 Content & Links
Do not post NSFW content, malware, phishing links, or anything obviously unsafe. When in doubt, don’t post it. Keep things within a reasonable, game-appropriate rating.
4.3 Spoilers & Story Content
Be considerate with major story spoilers. Use spoiler tags or appropriate channels when talking about key plot moments so others can experience them for themselves.
4.4 Respect Staff Decisions
You can ask questions and appeal decisions, but do so calmly and respectfully. Public witch-hunts, targeted harassment, or rallying others against staff are not acceptable.
5. Reporting & Support
5.1 Reporting Rule Breaks
If you see harassment, cheating, or serious rule violations, report them through in-game tools or the appropriate channels on our Discord server. Screenshots, videos, and clear details help us investigate quickly.
5.2 Bug Reports
Found a bug or exploit? Please report it instead of abusing it. Use the bug-report channels on Discord so we can track and fix issues properly.
5.3 Getting Help
For account issues, technical problems, or general questions, reach out in the support sections of our Discord. Staff and community members will do their best to help.
6. Consequences
6.1 How Penalties Work
Depending on the situation, staff may use warnings, mutes, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans. We look at context and history rather than instantly going for the harshest option, but serious violations can result in immediate action.
6.2 Appeals
If you believe a punishment was a mistake, you can politely appeal it through the designated appeal channels on Discord. Be honest, include relevant details, and avoid public drama while your appeal is being reviewed.
6.3 Final Say
The staff team has the final word on rule interpretation and enforcement. We aim to be fair and consistent, but we also reserve the right to act quickly when needed to protect the community and the health of the project.
