Welcome to the World of Anarchy
Anarchy is a fully custom 3.3.5a server set in a brand-new world with its own story, classes & races, and progression systems. It plays like a dark fantasy RPG inside an MMO — your choices shape the narrative, unlock unique powers, and determine your character’s final Destiny.
At a Glance
Here’s the quick snapshot of what Anarchy offers before we dive into the details.
World & Leveling Progression
Anarchy is not a reskinned version of existing content — it’s a bespoke world built for this project, with progression tuned specifically around its story and dungeons.
Evercross: The First Playable Realm
Right now your adventure takes place in Evercross — a fully custom map made up of multiple interconnected zones. It’s one corner of a larger world that future expansions will push beyond, but for now Evercross is your home.
Current Evercross zones: Dawnmere, Shaded Pass, Sanctum Rise, Sylvaen Grove, Proving Grounds, Market Square, Verdenglade, Alderwatch, Brackenridge, Forgon Springs, Hearthmore, and Union Tower.
- Handcrafted 2D world map and minimap tailored specifically to Evercross.
- Quest POIs mark your objectives on the map so you always know where to go next.
- Exploration rewards you with hidden events, Crimson Relics, Elite bosses, and secrets.
Level 1–40: Story Campaign
Levels 1–40 are spent in a fully scripted campaign. This is where you make most of your major choices and experience the core narrative of Evercross.
- Quest lines centered on meaningful moral decisions and story progression.
- Choices between Light and Dark paths influence characters, factions, and outcomes.
- In-game cutscenes punctuate pivotal story moments and Destiny revelations.
- XP is custom-tuned — there are no 1x/3x style rates. Progression is balanced for the story.
Level 40–60: Dungeon Ladder
After completing the main storyline, you move into a structured dungeon ladder that takes you from 40 to 60 while introducing Moral XP and endgame systems.
- The Forsaken Sanctum (40): The first major dungeon experience of the ladder.
- Forgotten Crypts (45): Labyrinthine catacombs and twisted spirits.
- Chasm of Burning Fury (50): Lava-scarred depths overflowing with rage.
- Crystalcore Citadel (55): Crystalline fortress that brings you to level 60.
Running these dungeons also earns you Moral XP, feeding directly into the Moral Ability system detailed below.
Races, Classes & Power
Anarchy offers a full roster of new playable races and a familiar set of core classes, layered on top of custom racial abilities and character-enhancement systems.
All races come with entirely new racial spell kits — 66 brand-new racial abilities in total. Each set is built from scratch to feel impactful and thematic while staying balanced across all classes, so picking a favorite race is about identity and playstyle, not free power.
The level cap is currently 60. Death Knights are not available yet — they may arrive in a future expansion once the story calls for them.
Anarchy is factionless — there is no Alliance or Horde divide. Everyone shares the same world and cities, so you can party, raid, trade, and form guilds with any race/class combination you like.
Power is not only defined by class and gear. Anarchy layers additional systems — Destiny, Moral Abilities, stat points, item upgrades, and more — on top of your core toolkit.
Choose Your Path & Forge Your Destiny
The heart of Anarchy is the Choose Your Path system. Throughout the story you’ll make decisions that lean toward Light or Darkness. Those choices accumulate and determine which Destiny your character unlocks at the end of the campaign.
Your final Destiny falls into one of four outcomes:
Full descent into corruption. Power at any cost, and the world bends or breaks around you.
A darker path with occasional redeeming moments — selfish, but not completely lost.
Largely virtuous, but with flaws and hard choices that leave moral scars on your story.
Pure Light — the selfless, sacrificial path. You’ve become a true champion of Evercross.
- Destiny is shaped by key story decisions from level 1–40.
- Different outcomes lead to different cutscenes, reactions, and long-term implications.
- Destiny also determines which Moral Ability set you unlock at endgame (Light vs. Dark variants).
- You can always roll new characters to explore alternate paths and endings.
Future expansions will push Destinies even further, deepening the consequences of your choices instead of resetting them.
Core Game Systems
Beyond classes and dungeons, Anarchy introduces a suite of systems that let you shape your character’s power, experiment with builds, and chase long-term goals.
Moral Ability System
Unlocks at level 40 once your Destiny has been revealed. Moral XP is earned by running dungeons within your level range, increasing your Moral Level up to 30.
- Five rows of abilities (Light or Dark themed depending on Destiny).
- Each row contains 5 spells; you may choose 2 per row (10 total abilities).
- Mix of active and passive effects that enhance offense, defense, utility, or group support.
- All abilities are mirrored between Light and Dark sets for balance; visuals and flavor differ.
Moral abilities are managed from a dedicated tab in your spellbook. Resets are handled via the Moral Arbiter NPC in Market Square (usable roughly once every 72 hours).
Character Enhancement (Stat Points)
At level 1 your character begins with 1 stat point. Upon reaching level 20 you unlock the Character Enhancement system and gain a total of 20 points to distribute, with 1 additional point per level thereafter.
- Invest freely into Strength, Agility, Stamina, Intellect, or Spirit.
- By level 60 you’ll have 60 points to shape your build.
- Respec at any time to experiment with different setups (tanky healer, glass-cannon caster, etc.).
- Designed to complement your class kit and Moral Abilities without replacing them.
Item Upgrader & Stones
Visit Eldrin, the Item Upgrader NPC, to push your gear beyond its base stats. Any item with stats can be enhanced up to +30, but every attempt carries risk.
- Drag an upgrade stone and an item into the UI, then attempt an upgrade.
- Each success increases all stats on the item by +1; failures may downgrade or even destroy it.
Available Stones
- Rune Stone: Very low success chance; failures can be brutal and may destroy items.
- Arcane Stone: Modest chance to succeed but still punishing on failure.
- Ethereal Stone: Fair balance of risk and reward.
- Mythic Stone: High likelihood of success with only minor setbacks.
- Eternal Stone: Near-certain success with virtually no risk of harm.
Stones drop from open-world enemies, Elite encounters, dungeons, and the World Boss — higher-tier content offers better stones.
Journey Tracker, Achievements & Relics
The Journey Tracker is your in-game hub for everything your character can do and has done.
- See campaign progress, available side quests, dungeons, challenges, and world content.
- Track Achievements with custom objectives designed specifically for Anarchy.
- Some achievements reward gold, items, cosmetic pieces, or unique unlocks.
- Completing all achievements grants an exclusive, fully custom transmog set.
Across Evercross you’ll also find hidden Crimson Relics tucked into nooks, cliffs, ruins, and caves.
- Collect them as you explore; they’re placed only in the open world, not inside instances.
- Finding the full set awards a dedicated achievement and additional rewards.
Challenges: Fury of the Battlemasters
Challenges are repeatable skill trials that test how far you can push your character. The first of these is Fury of the Battlemasters, available at level 60 via a floating sword in Market Square.
- Face waves of enemies in a timed arena and slay as many as possible before the clock runs out.
- Your performance earns a tier: Bronze, Silver, or Gold.
- Each tier offers rewards and contributes toward achievements and progression.
- There is also a hidden Ultimate Tier for those who truly break the limits.
More Challenges will be introduced over time, each with its own rules, rewards, and bragging rights.
Keeper of Secrets (Code Rewards)
In Market Square you’ll find Boro, Keeper of Secrets. Speaking with him opens a simple UI with a single text field — no hints and no explanation, just a place to enter a secret code.
- Redeem secret codes discovered in-game, on the website, on social posts, in Discord, or through special events.
- Valid codes instantly grant one-time rewards ranging from items and cosmetics to other surprises.
- Most codes are single-use: once a code is redeemed, it expires for everyone else.
- Some codes are given directly to you as you unlock content; others are hidden for the community to hunt down.
If you stumble across a code, decide whether to keep it for yourself or share it with friends — the Keeper of Secrets always remembers who arrived first.
Progression Without the Grind
Anarchy doesn’t advertise XP rates like “1x” or “3x” because the experience curve is custom-built for its content. Levels are paced to match the campaign and dungeon ladder — fast enough to feel rewarding, slow enough to give weight to your journey.
- You’re not rushing to max level just to “start playing” — the story is the game.
- Repeated content such as dungeons and Challenges provide long-term goals without mandatory grind walls.
- Systems like Character Enhancement, Moral Abilities, and Item Upgrades reward continued play.
Endgame, Bosses & Secrets
Reaching level 60 is not the end — it’s the point where your build, Destiny, and systems all come together. Endgame is designed around targeted goals, powerful encounters, and hidden rewards.
Dungeons & Moral Progression
- Farm the four primary dungeons at their appropriate level bands for gear and Moral XP.
- Climb toward Moral Level 30 to unlock your full suite of 10 Moral Abilities.
- Use the Item Upgrader to refine key pieces of gear, chasing those perfect upgrades.
Elite Bosses & World Boss
- 5 Elite Bosses roam Evercross, each with their own quests and rewards.
- Hunt them across regions like Shaded Pass, Sylvaen Grove, and other dangerous areas.
- A massive dragon World Boss resides in Bracken Ridge, dropping high-end loot and upgrade stones.
- Defeating world threats contributes to achievements and long-term progression.
Hidden Content & Replay Value
- Secret events, hidden rewards, and lore snippets are scattered throughout Evercross.
- Different Destinies can unlock different reactions, dialogue, and story angles.
- Alt characters let you explore all four endings and experiment with new builds.
Cosmetics, Costumes & Supporting the Server
Anarchy is funded by community support, but power is earned in-game — not bought. All supporter rewards are strictly cosmetic and exist to say thank you.
Costumes & Character Skins
- Unlock Costumes that let you transform into unique characters and themed appearances.
- A dedicated Costumes tab in your spellbook and a UI panel on the main bar manage them.
- Each costume entry includes preview art and a short lore blurb.
- Includes cross-world character skins purely for fun — they do not affect gameplay or story.
Mounts, Pets & Transmogs
- Custom ground and flying mounts designed or modified specifically for Anarchy.
- New pets and companions to accompany you on your journey.
- Unique cosmetic transmogs and outfits to capstone major achievements and support tiers.
- A full transmogrification system lets you apply collected appearances to your gear, so you can chase looks as well as stats.
- Some cosmetics are earned purely through gameplay; others are given as supporter rewards.
Donations go toward hosting, maintenance, art, music, cinematics, and ongoing development — never toward selling power. To learn more, visit the Support Anarchy page.
Looking Ahead: PvP & Future Expansions
The current release focuses on the story campaign, dungeon ladder, and PvE systems — but Anarchy is built as a living project with clear plans for what comes next.
Upcoming PvP Systems
- An all-new PvP framework with its own queue UI, rewards, and rankings.
- Planned modes include 1v1 arenas first, followed by 3v3 and potentially more formats.
- Rewards will focus on cosmetics and progression appropriate to PvP, not pay-to-win shortcuts.
Future Story & Expansions
- This launch marks the first expansion of Anarchy’s world.
- Future expansions will extend Evercross and beyond with new zones, dungeons, raids, and Destinies.
- Your current characters and choices will carry forward instead of being reset.
- Major updates will be treated like big events — with new trailers, cinematics, music, and content drops.
The best way to stay updated on upcoming features, tests, and releases is through our Discord server.
